To experience the full flavour, we recommend cutting the roast into 1cm thick slices and frying them with sufficient oil on both sides for about 30 seconds. Moreover, Vegusto plant-based roasts are a real delicacy when breaded before frying adding a very special highlight to any dinner table.
For a more traditional approach the roast can be baked in a pre-heated oven at 150 deg C for 20 to 25 mins. During cooking, moisten the roast occasionally with gravy or oil, to avoid from getting too dry. It's best brush after 7 mins and again after 15mins and then cover with foil to keep roast more moist.
All of our vegan roasts can also be enjoyed cold, e.g. cut into thin sandwich slices or into strips as salad topping. Similarly, you can also mince the Swiss vegan Vegusto roasts for pastry fillings.
